Prior to AppRedeem, Sheffield developed multiple iPhone apps that climbed to the top 5 paid and top 5 free spots on the iTunes App Store in multiple countries. Previously he architected and managed large scale solutions for many Fortune 500 companies and venture backed startups, including Visa, eBay, PayPal and AltaVista. In 2004, Sheffield launched the search engine Clush. Sheffield developed a machine learning categorization system for Clush, using probabilistic models for clustering and content classification. Sheffield has a thorough understanding of programming principles, techniques, analysis, and standards for standalone and embedded programming including 3-tier and web-based architectures. Experience leading systems and software development lifecycles from analysis and requirements definition through concept, prototype, development, and implementation. Strong background spanning analysis, design, coding, testing, and documenting software using multiple hardware platforms. Sheffield is very passionate about machine learning, primarily in probabilistic models for clustering and content classification with primary focus is on unstructured data classification and pattern recognition.
Frank has an extensive management history in both Sales and Marketing with a focus on the internet and the mobile marketplace. Frank has been instrumental in the successful launching of several mobile applications, promotional website services and has managed Fortune 500 infrastructure projects for the past twenty years.
Ben is an AppRedeem Advisor and is the CEO & Co-Founder of Chomp, a mobile app search & discovery engine (www.chomp.com). Previously he was lead advisor for mobile products at social search company, Aardvark, up until it was acquired by Google in early 2010. In 2006, Ben previously launched Bluepulse, a mobile social messaging application. Bluepulse was one of the most down oaded mobile java applications ever, reaching almost 2mm downloads per month at it's peak. At Bluepulse, Ben raised $6.5mm to build the company and after growing the business to a point where users were exchanging 300mm messages per month, he was nominated by BusinessWeek as one of America's Top Entrepreneurs under the age of 25.
Iryna leads mobile marketing for Groupon, which features a daily deal on the best stuff to do, eat, see and buy in more than 500 markets around the world. Her role is wide ranging, covering mobile user acquisition across mobile platforms and international mobile marketing strategy. Prior to Groupon Iryna was leading mobile marketing at SendMe, Inc., the largest provider of direct-to-consumer mobile entertainment services in the U.S. where she was responsible for creation and growth of SendMe's mobile channel. Before that Iryna was focused on investment strategy and analysis for technology and media sectors.
